2. Lesson Booking and Payment

1. All driving lessons must be booked and confirmed in advance with the instructor.
2. Payment must be made before the day of the scheduled lesson.
3. Payment confirms and authenticates the lesson booking.
4. Lessons may be booked individually or through a block booking package.

3. Lesson Pricing

Standard Lesson Price: £ # per lesson

Students may choose one of the following options:

• Individual lesson booking
• Block booking of 10 lessons (discounted rate)

4. Block Booking (10 Lessons)

1. Students who choose the 10-lesson block booking receive a discounted rate.
2. All 10 lesson dates must be agreed upon and scheduled before payment is made.
3. The agreed dates form part of this agreement.
4. Block bookings must be completed within 1 month of the purchase date, unless otherwise agreed with the instructor.

5. Lesson Cancellation Policy

1. Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
2. Any lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the booked lesson hour being forfeited and counted as used.
3. If the instructor needs to cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, the lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

6. Missed Lesson / No-Show Policy

If a student fails to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson will be charged in full and counted as used.

7. Block Booking Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Students who have purchased a 10-lesson block booking may cancel remaining unused lessons.
2. Refunds for unused lessons will be processed within one (1) month from the date the cancellation request was made.
3. Refund processing begins once the cancellation has been formally communicated to XDrive Driving School.

8. Lateness Policy

1. Students should be ready and on time for their scheduled lesson.
2. If a student is late, the lesson may still end at the originally scheduled time.
3. If the instructor is late, the lost time will be added to the lesson or rescheduled where possible.

9. Driving Test Day Charges

If the student requires instructor support on the day of their practical driving test, the following charges apply:

• Use of the instructor’s car for the driving test: £ 150
• Use of the student’s own car with the instructor present: £ 60

These services must be booked and paid for before the test date.

If a driving test requires the instructor to leave home earlier than usual or make special travel arrangements, an additional charge may apply. Any such charge will be discussed and agreed upon between the student and the instructor before the test date.

10. Driving Test Day Cancellation & Early Arrival Charges

1. If a student cancels a booked driving test lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full driving test support fee (including car use if applicable) will be charged.
2. If the instructor is required to travel early or make special arrangements for the student on the test day, an additional early arrival/travel charge may apply.
3. Any such charge will be agreed with the student in advance.
4. Students are encouraged to confirm test dates and times as early as possible to avoid unnecessary charges.

11. Student Responsibilities

1. Students must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence.
2. Students must ensure they are fit to drive, including not being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair driving ability.
3. Students must meet the DVSA eyesight requirement, which includes being able to read a vehicle number plate from a distance of 20 metres.
4. Students must inform the instructor of any medical condition or medication that may affect their ability to drive safely.
5. Students are encouraged to carefully read all information available on the XDrive Driving School website before signing this agreement.

12. Vehicle Care and Damage

1. Students must follow the instructor’s directions at all times during the lesson.
2. Xdrive Academy vehicles are fully insured.
3. If a student deliberately acts in a dangerous or negligent manner resulting in damage to the vehicle, the student may be held responsible for associated insurance excess or repair costs.

13. Dashcam and Lesson Recording

For safety, training, and insurance purposes, lessons may be recorded using dashcam or in-car recording devices. These recordings may be used for incident review, training improvement, or insurance evidence where necessary.

14. Instructor Right to Stop a Lesson

The instructor reserves the right to terminate or refuse a lesson if:

• The student appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• The student behaves in an unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate manner
• The instructor believes continuing the lesson would pose a safety risk

In such circumstances, the lesson may still be charged in full.

15. Instructor Availability

The instructor reserves the right to reschedule lessons in unforeseen circumstances, with adequate notice provided to the student.

16. Minimum Lesson Duration

To ensure effective learning and maximise driving practice time, the standard lesson duration at XDrive Driving School is a minimum of 2 hours per session unless otherwise agreed with the instructor.

Single-hour lessons may occasionally be offered at the instructor’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

Longer lessons may be recommended by the instructor where it benefits the student’s progress and preparation for the driving test.

17. Agreement

By signing below, the student confirms that they:

• Have read and understood these terms and conditions.
• Agree to the booking, payment, cancellation, and refund policies stated above.
• Understand the charges relating to driving test day services.
